Continue your adventure, visiting picturesque Ouarzazate and the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou, before concluding your trip in the vibrant city of Marrakech, where you can immerse yourself in its bustling souks and exquisite palaces, all while enjoying the warmth of Moroccan hospitality.
Day 1: Arrival in Tangier
Arrive at Tangier port or airport. Transfer to your hotel for check-in. Spend your afternoon exploring the vibrant medina, visit the Kasbah Museum, and enjoy a sunset walk along the Corniche. Dinner at a local restaurant featuring Moroccan cuisine.
Day 2: Tangier to Chefchaouen via Tetouan
In the morning, depart for Chefchaouen with a stop in Tetouan, known for its UNESCO-listed medina. Visit the Royal Palace and explore local artisans’ shops. Continue driving to Chefchaouen, check into your hotel, and take an evening stroll through the famous blue streets.
Day 3: Free Day to Explore Chefchaouen
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before embarking on a full day of exploration. Options include hiking to the Spanish Mosque for panoramic views, visiting the Ras El Maa waterfall, or wandering the medina’s charming shops and cafes. Capture stunning photographs of the city’s iconic blue walls.
Day 4: Chefchaouen to Fes
After breakfast, leave Chefchaouen for Fes, enjoying scenic landscapes of the Rif mountain along the way. Arrive in Fes, check into your hotel, and spend the afternoon relaxing or visiting the local souks. Enjoy dinner at a traditional Moroccan restaurant.
Day 5: Fes Historical Visit
Dedicate this day to exploring Fes, one of the world’s most well-preserved medieval cities. Visit iconic sites such as the Bou Inania Madrasa, Fes El Bali, and the ancient tanneries. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant and continue exploring the rich history and culture.
Day 6: Fes to Errachidia via Ifran, Cedre Forest and Ziz Valley
Depart for Errachidia, stopping at Ifran, known as “Little Switzerland,” before heading to the Cedre Forest to see the famous cedars. Enjoy a scenic drive through Ziz Valley, characterized by palm groves and dramatic landscapes. Arrive in Errachidia and spend the night at your hotel.
Day 7: Errachidia to Merzouga via Erfoud and Rissani
Travel from Errachidia to Merzouga, making stops at Erfoud, known for its fossil market, and Rissani, where you can explore the local market. Arrive in Merzouga, meet your camel caravan, and embark on a sunset camel trek into the Sahara. Spend the night in a desert camp under the stars.
Day 8: Merzouga to Dades Gorge via Toudra Gorge
After breakfast, return to Merzouga and then head to Dades Gorge, stopping at Toudra Gorge for a hike and stunning views. Enjoy lunch at a local café before continuing to Dades Gorge, where you’ll check into your lodging and have the evening free to explore the area.
Day 9: Dades Gorge to Marrakech via Rose Valley, Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, and High Atlas
Depart Dades Gorge and drive through the scenic Rose Valley to Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After lunch at a local restaurant, continue your journey over the High Atlas Mountains, enjoying breathtaking views. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening, and check into your hotel.
Day 10: Marrakech Historical Visit
Spend the day exploring Marrakech. Visit the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, and the Koutoubia Mosque. After lunch, enjoy the lively atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fnaa square, where you can see street performers, try local foods, and shop for souvenirs. Evening at leisure.
Day 11: Transfer to Marrakech Airport
Enjoy your last breakfast in Morocco, then check out of your hotel. Depending on your flight time, you might have the chance for a final stroll through Marrakech or a quick visit to the Majorelle Garden before your transfer to Marrakech Airport for departure.
