After the desert adventure, travel to Meknes, where you can explore the grand Bab Mansour gate and the remnants of the ancient Roman city of Volubilis nearby. Your journey then leads you to the coastal town of Assila, celebrated for its stunning murals and relaxing beach atmosphere. Finally, visit Larache, where you can stroll along the waterfront and delve into the area’s blend of history and modernity before returning to Tangier.

Day 1: Arrive in Tangier
Arrive at Tangier airport or port, where you will be greeted by your tour guide. Transfer to your accommodation and take some time to rest. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at a traditional Moroccan restaurant, where you can sample local dishes while being introduced to the culture and history of Tangier.
Day 2: Tangier to Chefchaouen via Tetouan
Depart Tangier in the morning and head towards Tetouan. Visit the UNESCO-listed Medina and the Royal Palace. After lunch in Tetouan, continue to Chefchaouen, famous for its blue-painted streets. Check into your hotel and spend the evening enjoying the charming atmosphere of this picturesque town.
Day 3: Free Day in Chefchaouen
Take a leisurely day to explore Chefchaouen. You can hike to the Akchour Waterfalls, visit the Kasbah Museum, or relax in the town square sipping mint tea. Consider shopping for handmade crafts and local textiles. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant under the stars.
Day 4: Chefchaouen to Fes via Rif Mountains
Travel through the stunning Rif Mountains to Fes, stopping for panoramic views and a picnic lunch along the way. Arrive in Fes and check into your hotel. Spend the evening at your leisure, perhaps visiting a local hammam for a traditional Moroccan bath.
Day 5: Fes Historical Visit
Spend the day exploring Fes, one of Morocco’s oldest cities. Visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Medina, and the oldest university in the world, Al Quaraouiyine. Explore the tanneries and artisanal workshops before enjoying dinner in a traditional riad, accompanied by traditional Moroccan music.
Day 6: Fes to Merzouga via Ifrane, Cedar Forest, and Ziz Valley
Depart Fes in the morning and stop in Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland,” for a brief visit. Continue to the cedar forests of Azrou, where you may spot Barbary macaques. After a scenic drive through Ziz Valley, arrive in Merzouga, known for its stunning sand dunes. Enjoy a camel trek at sunset and a traditional Berber dinner under the stars.
Day 7: Merzouga to Meknes via Middle Atlas and Azrou
After breakfast, depart Merzouga for Meknes, passing through the mesmerizing landscapes of the Middle Atlas. Stop in Azrou for a coffee break and visit local markets. Arrive in Meknes, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and explore its historical sites, including Bab Mansour Gate and the Royal Stables.
Day 8: Meknes to Asilah via Larache
Travel from Meknes to Asilah, stopping in Larache to explore the charming coastal town and its blend of Portuguese and Moroccan architecture. Upon arrival in Asilah, check in to your hotel and stroll along the beautiful beaches, and visit the vibrant Medina covered in colorful murals.
Day 9: Asilah to Tangier
After a leisurely breakfast, enjoy some free time in Asilah for last-minute shopping or relaxing on the beach. Later, depart for Tangier, where you can explore Cap Spartel and the Caves of Hercules. Spend your last evening enjoying dinner at a seaside restaurant with views of the Strait of Gibraltar.
Day 10: Transfer to Airport or Port in Tangier
Enjoy a final breakfast in Tangier before checking out of your hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some time for a last-minute stroll through the city or visit the local souks before your transfer to the airport or port for departure.
