This 10-day tour of Morocco commences at Casablanca Airport, where you’ll explore the rich history and culture of the Imperial Cities. Begin in Casablanca, visiting the Hassan II Mosque before heading to Rabat to see the Royal Palace and Kasbah of the Udayas. Next, travel to Fez, where a guided tour of the Medina reveals its ancient brickwork and craft workshops. Afterward, journey to Meknes and visit the UNESCO-listed Volubilis ruins. Then, head south to the Merzouga Desert for a breathtaking camel trek, witnessing a stunning sunset over the dunes and spending a night in a traditional Berber camp. On your return, stop at the picturesque Dades and Todra Gorges, then continue to Ouarzazate and the Ait Benhaddou kasbah. Conclude your adventure back in Marrakech with its vibrant souks and gardens, before flying out from Casablanca Airport.

Day 1: Arrive Casablanca Airport
Arrive at Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport, where you will be greeted and assisted with your transfer to your hotel. Spend the day relaxing and recovering from your journey, or take a leisurely stroll to explore the stunning Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, located by the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a welcome dinner featuring traditional Moroccan cuisine in a local restaurant.
Day 2: Casablanca to Marrakech
After breakfast, depart for Marrakech, approximately a 2.5-hour drive. Upon arrival, check into your riad and refresh. Start your exploration of the vibrant city by visiting the Koutoubia Mosque, followed by a stroll through the bustling Djemaa el-Fnaa square, where you can experience street performances, food stalls, and local vendors. Cap off the day with a traditional Moroccan dinner at a rooftop restaurant overlooking the square.
Day 3: Marrakech Historic Visit
Dedicate this day to immersing yourself in Marrakech’s rich history and culture. Visit the majestic Saadian Tombs, the beautiful Bahia Palace, and the stunning Jardin Majorelle, designed by French painter Jacques Majorelle. In the afternoon, explore the souks, where you can shop for spices, handicrafts, and textiles. Consider attending a traditional Moroccan cooking class in the evening to learn how to prepare local dishes.
Day 4: Marrakech to Dades Gorge via Ait Benhaddou, Ouarzazate, and Rose Valley
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive through the Atlas Mountains towards Dades Gorge. Stop at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou, a historic kasbah. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara,” where you can visit the Taourirt Kasbah and the Atlas Film Studios. Enjoy lunch before heading to the picturesque Rose Valley, famous for its blooming roses, then proceed to Dades Gorge for an overnight stay in a charming guesthouse.
Day 5: Dades Gorge to Merzouga via Toudra Gorge and Erfoud
In the morning, hike through the dramatic landscapes of Dades Gorge, then travel to Toudra Gorge, known for its striking limestone cliffs. Spend some time in this natural wonder before heading to Erfoud, a town famous for its fossils. Enjoy lunch in Erfoud and continue your journey to Merzouga, where you will find the stunning Erg Chebbi dunes. Experience a camel trek into the dunes for a breathtaking sunset view, followed by a traditional dinner in a desert camp, complete with music around the campfire.
Day 6: Merzouga to Fes via Middle Atlas, Cedar Forest, and Ifran
Rise early to witness the spectacular sunrise over the dunes before enjoying breakfast. Depart Merzouga and drive toward Fes, passing through the scenic Middle Atlas region. Stop in Ifran, known as Switzerland of Morocco, where you can see beautiful gardens and the famous Lion Stone. Continue your journey, making a stop in the impressive cedar forests of Michlifen to see monkeys. Arrive in Fes in the late afternoon and check in at your hotel.
Day 7: Fes Historic Visit
Spend this day discovering Fes, one of the world’s oldest cities and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, the ancient Fes el-Bali medina, and the fascinating Chouara Tannery, where you can observe the traditional leather-making process. Explore the souks and artisan workshops, and make sure to visit the stunning Al Quaraouiyine Mosque and University, the oldest existing university in the world. Enjoy dinner in a traditional riad.
Day 8: Fes to Rabat via Meknes
After breakfast, depart Fes en route to Rabat. On the way, stop in Meknes, known for its grand imperial architecture. Visit the impressive Bab Mansour gate, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, and explore the Heri es Souani granaries. After lunch, continue to the capital city, Rabat. After checking into your hotel, visit the Hassan Tower and the nearby Mausoleum of Mohammed V before enjoying dinner in the local area.
Day 9: Rabat to Casablanca
After breakfast, spend the morning exploring more of Rabat, including the Kasbah of the Oudayas and the Royal Palace. Later, drive back to Casablanca. Upon arrival, visit the Royal Palace, the beautiful Parc de la Ligue Arabe, and discover the vibrant neighborhoods of Casablanca. Spend your evening enjoying a farewell dinner at a local restaurant, reflecting on your Moroccan adventure.
Day 10: Transfer to Casablanca Airport
On your final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast before checking out from your hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for some last-minute shopping or sightseeing. Afterward, you will be transferred to Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport for your departure, bringing home unforgettable memories from your Moroccan journey.
